Alameda County Fair: 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular 9:45pm, July 4, 2014. This show promises to live up to its name with non-stop, razzle-dazzle fireworks set to music and a cool video tribute to Alameda County. Albany: 8:00-11:00 am Lion's Pancake Breakfast, The event takes place on the 4th of July each year and is held in Memorial Park. The event features a pet show, diaper derby, mustache & beard contest, music, activities for the entire family and great food. Website

Berkeley: The 4th of July is a great day to have a lot of fun. The biggest party is at the Berkeley Marina from noon-10PM with all kinds of free fun! There’s yummy food trucks and booths, handmade crafts, free dragon boat rowing from 12-5PM, massages, live pony rides and carnival rides near Skates, an inflatable bouncy area, mini-train rides, giant slides, and water bubble ball rides all culminating in the grand fireworks over the water from the end of the Berkeley Pier at 9:35PM which are presented by the City of Berkeley. Concord: 8:00 a.m. Concord Police Association 2014 Stars & Stripes 5K Run and Walk / Fun Run. 10:00 a.m. Concord's 4th of July Parade. Please join us for the 1st Annual Concord 4th of July Festival and Fireworks being held in Downtown Concord at Mt. Diablo High School. Danville: Kick off Independence Day at Danville’s 4th of July Parade. This festive, hometown event attracts over 40,000 attendees each year including local residents, family, friends, and flag-wavers from the Bay Area and beyond. Park yourself curbside and cheer on the bands, gymnasts, Scouts, and other community organizations as they proudly march by. The Pleasant Hill'a 38th Fourth of July Celebration begins at 8:00 am - Firecracker 5K Fun Run (100 year dash for 7 and under), Traditional Fourth of July Parade starting at 9:30 a.m. Fun At Pleasant Hill Park starts at 10:30, Games, food, live musical entertainment, races, contests, educational displays, and many events to keep kids and grown-ups entertained for hours. Livermore: The City of Livermore and Livermore Downtown Inc. have partnered to bring the fireworks celebration to downtown Livermore. Fireworks will be shot off from the top floor of the City Parking Garage on Railroad Ave. at approximately 9:30pm. The 25-minute show will close Railroad Avenue and other nearby streets for part of the day. Website

Oakland: Celebrate Independence Day at Jack London Square's annual July 4th Festival of Family Fun! Everyone is invited to the festivities that will fill the Oakland waterfront from 11:00 to 4:00 with a merry mix of dazzling performers including Uncle Sam stilt walker, jugglers, magicians, hula hoopers, clowns and puppeteers. Pittsburg: The annual Independence Day Fireworks display will be sponsored by the City of Pittsburg's Waterfront Department along with its industrial tenants. The fireworks begin at dusk on Friday evening, July 4. Website

American Canyon: Fourth of July parade with classic cars, floats, decorated vehicles and more will take place on Sunday, July 4 and will start at 10:30am at Elliott and Kimberly Drives.
